Bacon-Wrapped Dates

Ingredients:

30 to 35 pitted dates

60 to 70 roasted almonds

2 pounds thin cut bacon, cut each in ½ crosswise

30 to 35 toothpicks

 

Steps:

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat

  2. Stuff each date with 1 to 2 almonds. Wrap each date with half a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick.

  3. Place in a single layer on the grill (best to place on a grill pan or piece of foil), turn dates after 8 minutes, cook another 7-9 minutes, ensuring bacon is crispy.
